Job summary

• Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows, z/OS, zVM) and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Grafana).
• Understanding of cloud networking (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Interest in SRE principles such as automation, observability, and fault tolerance.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Exposure to cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts.
• Internship or academic project experience in network administration or reliability engineering.
• Certifications such as Juniper JNCIA, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
