Job summary

MaintainX is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to advance reliability, observability, and developer autonomy as we scale our platform. You’ll collaborate with product and platform teams to improve stability and propagate best practices across services.

This role suits developers who influence technical direction, translate reliability concepts into scalable systems, and mentor others in reliability engineering.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in software development, SRE, DevOps, or production roles.
• Experience operating production systems.
• Proficient with cloud-native platforms and IaC concepts.
• Working knowledge of a programming language (TypeScript/Node.js a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assess service maturity and provide insights to development teams
• Partner with development teams to implement observability best practices
• Enable development teams to deploy, support, and operate their services autonomously
• Mentor developers on reliability practices to build self-sufficiency
• Drive tooling adoption across Platform Division teams
