Comcast is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and observability for the Freewheel BuyerCloud and Revenue Science teams in Illinois.

The role involves managing thousands of applications and containers across regions, using AWS and Kubernetes, with IaC and on-call responsibilities. A Bachelor’s degree and experience with distributed systems are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Professional experience administering Linux, cloud, and containers.
• Professional experience coding in Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build infrastructure and tooling for high scalability and sub-second performance.
• Write code and scripts to support IaC, configuration management, and automated incident resolution.
• Support and extend the observability stack for system issues.
