Job summary

CLA is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our technology team in Milwaukee. This role will design, implement, and support reliable, scalable, and secure production systems, combining software engineering, operational expertise, and automation to improve reliability and performance.

You will partner with development, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to reduce operational risk and ensure stability of business-critical services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; a combination of experience can be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliability engineering practices for production environments.
• Develop software-based automation to reduce manual operations and toil.
• Build and maintain monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident-response capabilities.
• Define and maintain SLOs, SLIs, and reliability metrics.
• Lead root-cause analysis for complex production incidents and implement automated recovery.
• Design and maintain highly available infrastructure and platform services.
• Collaborate with development, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to improve reliability and deployment stability.
• Promote reliability engineering best practices across the SDLC.
