Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior AI Site Reliability Engineer to reinforce reliability, observability, and automation for GenAI platforms. You will design scalable CI/CD pipelines and coordinate with AI Engineering to embed SRE best practices early in development.

The role emphasizes on-call support, incident response, and improving SLOs/SLIs while working within Schwab's AI.x initiative and broader cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering with 4+ years as an SRE in startups or large organizations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience with containers and cloud-native apps, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead automation-first reliability initiatives across AI.x platforms.
Design robust CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, validation, and rollback.
Implement observability frameworks with metrics, logs, and traces for real-time monitoring.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 reliability of AI systems.
