Quant is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to be on the front line of our production environment during shifts. You’ll monitor, respond to incidents, and help automate repetitive toil for a private Hyperledger Besu L1 and related services in a US-based team.
You’ll work with a Senior SRE and report to the Platform Reliability Technical Lead, with a rotating 24/7 shift. This role emphasizes incident response, logs, and cross-functional collaboration for mission-critical infrastructure.
Quant builds interoperability and programmable payment infrastructure for banks, central banks and financial institutions. Our US delivery team runs mission-critical, distributed-ledger infrastructure for one of the largest payments organizations in the United States. We're hiring the engineers who keep it running, around the clock.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be on the front line of our production environment during your shift. You'll handle monitoring, alerting and first-line incident response across OP-stack services, a private Hyperledger Besu L1, Paladin nodes, the Overledger Gateway, the Audit Store, the Settlement Bridge and our observability stack. You'll work alongside a Senior SRE on every shift and report to the Platform Reliability Technical Lead. The whole team is US-based, with no offshore handoff anywhere in the incident path.
You'll get hands-on experience operating production DLT and settlement infrastructure for a major financial institution. That experience is still rare in the market. You'll also have a senior engineer alongside you on every shift, and a clear progression path to Senior SRE.
Start date: January 2027
