Location: Chandler AZ Preferred, can sit in Jacksonville FL or Charlotte NC

Pay: $59.69/hr

Model: Hybrid 4x onsite/week

Duration: 12-18 month contract

Insight Global is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support a team focused on improving platform reliability, developer experience, and operational efficiency across enterprise application environments. This individual will play a key role in the organization's transition to ServiceNow and will leverage ITIL-based service management practices to enhance support processes and workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software delivery, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC best practices, and application frameworks, coupled with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement. Experience utilizing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude to streamline work, increase productivity, and automate routine tasks is highly desired. This person will be responsible for ensuring a reliable developer experience platform, reducing operational toil, implementing efficiencies, automating manual processes, and supporting ongoing platform enhancements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps
• Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies and service management principles
• Experience working with or implementing ServiceNow
• Understanding of software delivery processes and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Knowledge of application frameworks and modern software delivery practices
• Ability to automate processes, reduce operational toil, and improve platform reliability

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
