This hands-on role works under senior technicians to learn safe, high-quality BESS field inspection and documentation.

The Site Readiness Technician I is an entry-level field role supporting receiving inspection and mechanical completion verification on ON.energy’s mission-critical, medium-voltage double-conversion UPS systems, utility-scale battery energy storage equipment including batteries, transformers, power conversion systems (PCS), and controls deployed at hyperscale data center and grid-tie sites. Working under the direction of senior technicians and the Site Readiness Manager, the Technician I performs basic receiving and installation checks, supports inspection documentation, and learns the fundamentals of safe, high-quality BESS field inspection.
This is a hands-on, high-travel field role. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and ready to grow into a more senior technician.
