Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and health & biosciences, seeks a Quality Control Manager based in Memphis, TN, on-site. Lead the QC laboratory, ensure GMP/compliance, and partner with manufacturing and supply chain to uphold quality standards and food safety.

You will oversee QA testing, environmental monitoring, audits, RCA investigations, and corrective actions; manage documentation, sampling plans, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of quality control/QA or lab management experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC laboratory, overseeing daily operations and team performance.
• Establish and improve quality control systems to meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Define sampling plans, testing methods, and lab protocols for materials and products.
• Direct QC testing and ensure timely analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Ensure GMP and regulatory compliance across all activities.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to maintain standards.
• Lead RCA investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
