Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Site Quality Engineer in Greer, SC to lead quality initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will manage issues, support PFMEA and control plans during new product launches, and coach teams on quality tools and processes to prevent escapes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in quality with ASQ CQE/CQA, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and strong communication skills to drive improvements and customer satisfaction at a large manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification with 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• ASQ Certified Auditor or Engineer certification.
• Experience handling demanding customers on quality and delivery.
• Lean or Six Sigma applications to products, processes and flows.
• Knowledge of quality mgmt systems (QS-9000, ISO/TS16949).
• Proven ability to deliver results and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage issues and problem solving for internal and external customers.
• Support launch of new products by participating in PFMEA and control plan development.
• Ensure right quality tools are applied by production personnel through training and coaching.
• Define and release rework instructions; initiate Problem Alerts for critical issues.
• Participate in part rejection analysis with customers for 0km and warranty.
• Visit customers regularly to establish long-term relationships.
• Apply 8D and QRCM in production; maintain the Customer Quality Fast Response Board.
