Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Bridgeton, MO seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure customer quality requirements are met across production. You will drive APQP/PPAP activities, manage PPAP documentation, and oversee the Quality System for changes after launch.

Responsibilities include leading Safe Launch, updating control plans and FMEA, and acting as the liaison for customer complaints while mentoring floor-based quality teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with strong quality system knowledge.
• 5 years in related experience or training; APQP/PPAP familiarity.
• Experience with GD&T, dimensional data, and problem solving.
• Ability to train and lead plant-level quality audits and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safe Launch activities and PPAP documentation.
• Maintain Quality System changes after launch and update FMEA/Control Plans.
• Own plant-level quality concerns and act as customer liaison for complaints.
• Provide floor support, train auditors, and push continuous improvement.
