Baker Construction Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to direct all site quality control activities and manage the inspection staff, typically certified as Inspector Level II or III.

This role demands hands-on leadership in QA, testing, and process improvement on major projects across diverse disciplines. You will establish procedures, verify conformance to contract requirements, train personnel, and collaborate with project teams to prevent non-conformances while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering/science/construction-related discipline with 8 years related experience and/or training; or 10 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.).
• Quality assurance-related experience preferably in the nuclear power industry (DOE/DOD facilities).
• Quality inspector experience.
• Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards preferably NRC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs all site quality control activities and manages the inspection staff.
• Manages qualified inspection and test personnel to perform their applicable quality-related activities.
• Reviews and approves test controls and test results.
• Establishes and maintains written procedures for training, examining, qualifying, and certifying personnel.
• Verifies that the items received conform to the acceptance criteria required by the contract.
• Verifies that special processes are defined and followed.
• Ensures compliance with the inspection Hold and Witness Points.
• Documents and facilitates corrections of non-conformances.
