Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Manager to oversee site quality assurance and control activities on our Merritt Island projects. You will lead inspection staff, define QA/QC processes, and ensure compliance with owner and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes developing and implementing QA/QC programs, supervising inspectors, and coordinating with project teams to deliver defect-free work in a safe environment. Strong knowledge of construction practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/science/construction and 6 years related experience.
• Knowledge of construction practices (formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.).
• Quality assurance experience in nuclear power industry (DOE/DOD facilities).
• Quality inspector experience.
• Familiarity with NRC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs QA/QC staff and inspections and audits.
• Oversee QA/QC documentation for a project.
• Ensure records are legible and traceable to the item.
• Assist in defining inspection processes and certifying inspectors.
• Develop and implement Company/Project QA/QC programs.
• Direct qualified inspection and test personnel to perform QA/QC activities.
• Review test controls and results; witness tests as required.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance.
