Job summary

MP Systems is a leading line and infrastructure construction company seeking a Quality Control role to ensure high standards across job sites. You will implement the Quality Control Plan, conduct thorough inspections, and resolve issues through document reviews and on-site evaluations.

The role includes training and coaching field teams to meet project specifications, safety standards, and company values while supporting efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Requires strong safety mindset and ownership of quality on field sites.
• Leads with interpersonal skills to guide field teams.
• Decision-making and problem-solving to address quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections for layout conduit systems, various lighting systems, basic control systems and feeders, and inspections of installation of motor feeders
• Identify potential quality issues from review of construction documents
• Analyze startup/commissioning schedule
• Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment installation standards, checklist procedures, and training
• Provide valid statistical information and applicable analyses regarding job site quality, commissioning, and startup procedures
• Participates in cross-functional teams to refine processes related to job site quality and commissioning
• Perform safety checks on job sites and maintain compliance with safety policies
• Opportunity to help direct the work of small crews
• Help provide guidance to field employees, project supervisors, and management on matters concerning job sit quality and commissioning
• Perform Project Expectations Review with project leadership
• Demonstrate excellent customer relations
• Develop relationships with project leadership and personnel that facilitate open dialogue and trust
• Pre-plan and identify methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task
• Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention
• Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company and aim for zero accidents
• Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns and PPE needs
• Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel
