Job summary

Albemarle Corporation in Pasadena, Texas is seeking a Site Project Engineer to lead capital projects from concept through commissioning on-site at our facility.

You will define scope, objectives, and success criteria, develop and execute project plans with cost estimates and schedules, manage risk, and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years leading capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Define scope, objectives, and success criteria with site leadership.
• Develop and execute project plans with cost estimates, schedules, and risk plans.
• Manage project performance to meet safety, cost, schedule, and quality goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders across functions.
• Oversee engineering design, contractor performance, and EPC activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project controls.
