Job summary

Duke Energy seeks a Principal Project Controls Specialist to serve as the Site Project Controls Lead for the Anderson Combined Cycle Project in Anderson, SC. The role focuses on cost management, forecasting, EVM, and integration of project controls during active EPC construction.

Responsibilities include leading cost baselines & forecasting, coordinating with schedulers, and delivering monthly cost reports while supporting multiple projects with subject-matter expertise in cost control and risk

Qualifications

• Lead cost management on active EPC construction projects.
• Experience with EVM, accruals, and EAC forecasting.
• Experience with contractor change orders and cost/schedule impacts.
• Ability to mobilize to Anderson, SC for field-based work.

Responsibilities

• Establish cost baselines, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for large EPC construction projects.
• Lead EVM analysis, variance reporting, and trend analysis.
• Develop and maintain EAC forecasts and cost performance metrics.
• Coordinate with schedulers to analyze cost-schedule impacts.
• Review contractor costs, invoices, and earned value metrics for the project team.
• Maintain monthly cost reports and project controls documentation.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to project controls personnel.
