Job summary

RESRG Automotive seeks a Site Program Manager for our Portageville, MO facility to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) programs. You will drive customer-focused program management, align with requirements, and ensure launches meet targets across schedules, budgets, and quality milestones.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, implement robust product/process design, and manage risks while delivering compelling program

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive program management experience with emphasis on NPI and/or APQP.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Experience negotiating with customers and translating needs into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from concept through launch.
  • Be primary point of contact for key external customers and manage their requirements and expectations.
  • Apply APQP methodologies to ensure robust product and process design.
  • Develop and manage detailed program plans including APQP deliverables (FMEAs, Control Plans, PPAP).
  • Drive risk mitigation, schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and accountability.
  • Prepare and deliver clear programupdates and presentations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure performance and quality.
  • Enforce gated product lifecycle processes and quality milestones.

In this role, we are seeking an experience Program Manager with specialized focus on New Production Introduction (NPI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). If you are a highly skilled professional to lead our critical development and production programs. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind the successful launch of new products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and achieving internal business objectives. You will thrive in a customer-centric environment, serving as a key interface and communicator for both internal and external stakeholders.

What you Will do in Your Role
  • Lead full-cycle New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from concept through launch
  • Customer-Centric Program Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key external customers, ensuring their requirements are meticulously captured, understood, and integrated into program plans. Proactively manage customer expectations and relationships throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Apply APQP methodologies to ensure robust product and process design
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers; manage requirements and expectations
  • Develop and manage detailed program plans, including APQP deliverables (FMEAs, Control Plans, PPAP)
  • Drive risk mitigation strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource planning
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and accountability
  • Monitor program performance; implement corrective actions to meet targets
  • Control scope, schedule, and budget through structured change management
  • Prepare and deliver clear, effective program updates and presentations
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure performance and quality
  • Enforce gated product lifecycle processes and quality milestone adherence
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across programs
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations
  • Drive organizational change and achieve results through influence and negotiation across multiple organizational functions with direct authority
  • Communicate cross functionally across varying aspects of the business and stakeholders
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive program management experience with an emphasis on NPI and/or APQP
  • Experience in customer negotiations - ability to understand and translate customer needs into actionable plans
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Automotive or heavy vehicle manufacturing experience
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Demonstrated ability to use problem solving strategies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5WHY, Kaizen, etc)
