Zachry Group is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support our Maintenance Site Cheniere Sabine Pass LNG in Cameron, LA. This role handles weekly payroll processing, timekeeping audits, and data assembly from employee records, ensuring accurate deductions, direct deposits, and compliant wage statements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years clerical experience required.
• Strong customer service, accuracy, and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attendance are essential.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete payroll process for the business unit, including timekeeping audits and deductions.
• Audit payroll transactions and release timecards before deadlines.
• Maintain employee payroll records: direct deposits, W-4s and state forms.
• Prepare wage statements for commissions and workers' comp where required.
• Ensure compliance with company and government requirements during payroll processing.
• Assist with day-to-day payroll needs and ad hoc requests.
• Support annual events and daily headcount/subcontractor reporting.
