Univar Solutions invites applications for a Branch Operations role supporting daily safety, efficiency, and compliance in our Kentucky-Northern region. You will supervise staff, coordinate transportation, warehousing, and tank farm activities, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

The position emphasizes incident investigations, cost optimization, and collaboration with sales and branch management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years operations experience in chemical distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of governmental requirements (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT) preferred.
• Experience with UVX2000 and inventory/branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily safe, efficient, legal, and economical branch operations (transport, warehouse, tank farm).
• Support safety training, documentation, and record keeping per policies.
• Assist in sales support and customer service while maintaining compliance.
• Conduct safety audits and incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Monitor branch performance, cost, productivity and industry trends.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and supervise staff.
• Coordinate activities to meet goals and provide necessary tools and training.
• Oversee budget and operating plans to achieve branch goals.
