Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group is seeking an Operations Manager in Oceanside, CA to lead the end-to-end site execution for flexographic and digital printing, converting, and finishing. You will oversee purchasing, shipping/receiving, and facilities, driving discipline in daily execution and building strong front-line leadership.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing operations, strong Lean/Six Sigma credentials, and the ability to balance safety, quality, delivery, and cost while coaching a team

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience leading supervisors across multiple departments, shifts, or value streams.
• Track record of improving operational results through daily management, standard work, and disciplined problem solving.
• Strong production-planning and capacity-management judgment, balancing customer urgency, constraints, labor, and cost.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end site execution across printing, converting, finishing, and facilities; align priorities for safe, predictable work.
• Establish a visible safety standard; ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.
• Translate demand into staffing, equipment, and shift plans; manage constraints and priorities.
• Reinforce quality across print and converting specs, color/registration, and material control.
• Establish a daily-management cadence; use measures like OTIF, throughput, uptime, and scrap.
• Lead Lean and problem-solving to remove bottlenecks and reduce waste.
• Lead through supervisors; coach performance and develop talent.
• Own operating budgets and cost actions; build business cases for investments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Sales, Finance, HR, IT, and corporate resources.
