Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group in Milford, NH is seeking a Prepress professional who turns customer art into press-ready files for flexographic and digital production.

You’ll use Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign daily, verify barcodes, proofread content, and coordinate with Production and Customer Service to meet tight deadlines. A 1+ year background and an associate degree or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prepress experience (required).
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and time-management abilities; deadline-driven problem solver.
• Excellent communication and a client-centered mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer files for Flexographic and Digital production, including trapping, stepping, and distortion.
• Preflight incoming artwork to validate fonts, images, color spaces, dielines, and bleeds.
• Proofread all content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
• Execute barcode verification to uphold quality standards.
• Communicate clearly with Management, Prepress, Production, and Customer Service.
• Order and manage storage of flexographic plates for upcoming jobs.

At Inovar Packaging Group, we help brands stand out with precision labels and packaging. Our Milford, NH team leverages modern flexographic and digital technologies to deliver flawless results—and we’re looking for a Prepress professional who loves turning customer art into press-ready perfection.

A day in this role

Monday begins at 11:00 a.m. You open Illustrator to step and repeat a label run, apply trapping, and handle distortion for a challenging flexographic job. An urgent digital order arrives—your preflight catches a low-res image, and you coordinate with Customer Service to correct it swiftly. Before lunch, you proof headlines for grammar and punctuation; after, you verify barcodes and log plate orders for an upcoming long-run SKU set. By 7:00 p.m., files are precisely packaged for Production, and your inbox is clear after updating Management and Prepress teammates.

Location: 15 Westchester Drive, Milford, NH 03055

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you bring

• At least 1 year of prepress experience (required); Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
