Qualifications

• Experience improving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity in manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management or operations leadership certifications preferred.
• ERP experience, NetSuite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations for Spartanburg, ensuring safe, high-quality, efficient, and reliable execution across production, facilities, materials, and support functions.
• Build and manage operating rhythms, staffing plans, shift handoffs, production priorities, and escalation processes for smooth operations.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, maintenance, facilities, and safety teams to remove barriers and scale manufacturing.
• Monitor site performance metrics, identify gaps, and lead corrective actions related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, equipment uptime, and engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement using problem-solving, root cause analysis, standard work, visual management, and disciplined follow-up.
• Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of site team members while reinforcing accountability and communication.
• Ensure compliance with policies, workplace safety expectations, quality requirements, and federal/state/local regulations.
• Serve as a key site leader during new product introductions, facility/process changes, and customer or leadership visits.

This role will lead day-to-day site operations, partnering closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, facilities, quality, safety, and leadership teams to drive safe, efficient, and reliable execution.

• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, maintenance, facilities, and safety teams to remove barriers, improve throughput, and support manufacturing scale‑up.
• Monitor site performance metrics, identify gaps, and lead corrective actions related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, equipment uptime, and employee engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement using practical problem‑solving, root cause analysis, standard work, visual management, and disciplined follow‑up.
• Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of site team members while reinforcing accountability, respect, and strong communication.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety expectations, quality requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Serve as a key site leader during new product introduction, facility changes, process changes, equipment installation, production ramp, and customer or leadership visits.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive operations, manufacturing, site leadership, production management, or industrial leadership experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience with responsibility for daily execution, coaching, performance management, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Demonstrated experience improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, equipment uptime, and operational discipline in a manufacturing or engineered‑product environment.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, or operations leadership certifications are preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite, is a plus.
