Sofidel America is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead three Arizona facilities, including two converting operations in Phoenix and one tissue manufacturing site in Gila Bend. The role requires driving world-class safety, quality, productivity, cost management, and employee engagement while aligning with Sofidel’s sustainability and operational excellence goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site operations focusing on safety, environmental compliance, quality, productivity, and cost control.
• Drive execution of the site’s operating plan and performance objectives.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop salaried and hourly teams across production and operational functions.
• Partner with EHS, Maintenance, Reliability, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including safety, output, efficiency, waste, and reliability.
• Support capital projects, asset performance initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Sofidel America is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead overall operations at our Duluth, MN manufacturing facility. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving safe, efficient, and compliant operations while delivering results aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing leadership experience with a background in paper mill operations or converting operations, along with a proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead all site operations with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, quality, productivity, and cost control
• Drive execution of the site's operating plan and performance objectives

This senior leadership role is accountable for driving world-class performance in safety, quality, productivity, cost management, employee engagement, and environmental compliance while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. The successful candidate will bring proven manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within tissue, paper, or converting operations, along with a demonstrated ability to lead multi-site teams, develop talent, and drive sustainable operational improvements.

• Lead all site operations with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, quality, productivity, and cost control
• Drive execution of the site’s operating plan and performance objectives
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Lead and develop salaried and hourly teams across production and operational functions
• Partner cross-functionally with EHS, Maintenance, Reliability, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, Engineering and other stakeholders

• Drive organizational capability through succession planning, talent development, and leadership coaching.

• Manage operational budgets and ensure achievement of financial targets.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in safety, quality, production, and cost
• Experience leading operations within tissue manufacturing, paper manufacturing, converting, or other highly automated process industries required
• Demonstrated success leading operations across multiple manufacturing facilities or large, complex manufacturing environments
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment, including adherence to PPE and safety requirements
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
