Job summary

Lucas Industrial is hiring a Site Operations Manager in Murfreesboro, TN. This full-time role oversees dispatching field crews, coordinating with contractors, managing RFIs and timelines, and ensuring safety and equipment readiness.

Travel nationwide is required; schedule is M–F 8–5 with on-call and overtime potential. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in PM, the ability to read plans, strong organization, and proficiency with Excel, Adobe and PDF tools; willingness to travel extensively is

Pay: $135,000–$155,000 annually, with bonus potential

• Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • On-call expectations
  • Overtime availability
• Coverage Area:
  • Frequent nationwide travel (up to 10 months annually), with a reporting base in Murfreesboro, TN

YOUR CORE CONTRIBUTIONS AS A SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER:

You'll Be Responsible For:

• Dispatching and coordinating field crews across projects
• Communicating with general contractors and internal teams
• Managing RFIs, timelines, and execution plans
• Troubleshooting field issues quickly and effectively
• Tracking project progress and ensuring completion milestones
• Supporting billing milestones and payment applications
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety policies
• Ensuring equipment is ready, available, and insured

MUST-HAVES FOR OUR SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER:

• 5+ years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with structural steel projects
• Welding knowledge
• Contract review experience
