Job description

A growing industrial manufacturer is seeking a Site Manager to lead a small production facility with approximately 5-10 employees. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, including safety, production, quality, customer service, employee development, and financial performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader looking for greater autonomy, or an ambitious supervisor, superintendent, or production manager ready to take the next step into overall site leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for all daily plant operations.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead production planning and execution to meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor employees while building a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and employee development activities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, supply chain, and corporate leadership to support business objectives.
  • Ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Manage site budgets, operating expenses, and inventory levels.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and support business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing, operations, maintenance, or industrial leadership experience.
  • Experience leading teams in a production, maintenance, fabrication, construction materials, infrastructure, transportation, or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead employees, improve processes, and drive operational results.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands‑on operational leadership.
