Job summary

TXM Inc is seeking a Site Operations Manager in Delaware, OH, to lead a high-volume, highly automated facility from a maintenance perspective. You will build up the site, processes and teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day running and strong customer relationships.

The role demands managing budgets, leading large onsite teams, developing maintenance programs and driving continuous improvement with Lean methods. Permanent role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Operations Management role focused on Maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Leadership experience with large teams (20+).
• Knowledge of automated machinery and maintenance programs.
• Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis and maintenance KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the on-site client to deliver against KPI's/SLA's.
• Own the site budget and manage costs.
• Lead onsite teams: Maintenance, Software & Inventory; oversee hiring.
• Oversee training to ensure safe operation and staff development.
• Deliver performance against KPIs; report to customer and internal teams.
• Develop and implement SOPs for a highly automated facility.
• Oversee installation and commissioning projects at the site.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture using lean methods.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety policies on site.
• Report on technical activities, SLA's and commercial details.
• Plan and allocate day-to-day tasks with SLA's in mind; handle emergencies.

An opportunity to work for a genuine market leader in solutions development for the intralogistics market, specialising in the design, installation & management of highly automated and intelligent facilities as they search for a Site Operations Manager to join the business and lead this facility. You will play a key role in building up the site, processes and teams though ensuring smooth day to day running of the high-volume facility from a Maintenance perspective.

Alongside the salary, you will also receive 401k, medical, dental and life insurance, as well as aperformance bonus and a 120hr holiday allowance – with no vesting on insurances.

Site Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

• You will be the key interface for the on-site client, with responsibility for building and maintaining a strong working relationship and ensuring the site is delivering against the customers KPI’s/SLA’s.
• Ownership over the site budget.
• Leadership over the onsite teams. Maintenance, Software & Inventory. Building out teams across all functions with responsibility for overseeing the interview and hiring process through the ongoing day to day management of teams once the site is live.
• Oversee all relevant training needs of staff to ensure safe operation of facility. Supporting their continued development through training programs.
• Delivering against key performance indicators that are defined with customer goals in mind, tracking and reporting delivery.
• Develop, define and implement all SOP’s for a highly automated facility.
• Oversee all onsite installation and commissioning projects.
• Creating a continuous improvement culture, one that uses lean methodologies and allows the site to identify areas for improvement.
• Responsible for ensuring the site understands and is following health & safety policies.
• Reporting on technical activities, SLA’s and commercial details to internal teams and the customer.
• Creating and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs for automated machinery.
• Through direct reports, plan and allocate day to day tasks with SLA’s in mind.
• Responding to emergency calls as required.

Experience & requirements for the role:

• Eligibility to work in the USA.
• Previous experience in an Operations Management role (focus on Maintenance), or an experienced Maintenance Manager.
• Worked within an industrial setting – production, manufacturing, automated warehousing.
• Management, mentoring and motivation experience over large scale teams – 20+.
• Knowledge of automated machinery, with experience in developing maintenance programs.
• Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis & Maintenance KPI’s such as MTTF, MTTR, PM Completion for example.
