Job summary

SDI is seeking a Site Manager to oversee a client location in Sacramento, CA. You will manage purchasing, receiving, inventory control, technology, personnel productivity and facilities to achieve best-in-class storeroom operations and site profitability.

Responsibilities include meeting customer service goals, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety protocols and delivering weekly forecasts, while collaborating with Engineering Services, Strategic Sourcing and Finance at corporate HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role of hourly and clerical workers in a service industry.
• Profit and loss (P&L) management experience required.
• Hands-on manager willing to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
• Six Sigma knowledge preferred; Lean Manufacturing experience considered.
• Understanding of storeroom activities and material management.
• Strong organizational, time management and people management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Valid Driver's License (site specific).
• Ability to work in industrial/warehouse environment; lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer services levels meet required goals as per SDI's contract.
• Check and maintain inventory accuracy.

• Deliver site profitability to contracted goals.
• Provide weekly forecasts.
