Job summary

Turtle, a long-standing electrical distribution leader, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily operations at our Connecticut site. You will ensure production supply crib work is done safely, on time, and to customer quality standards.

You will lead onsite staff, manage procurement, drive cost savings, and act as the main liaison between customers and vendors, while overseeing accounts payable/receivable and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree is required; Bachelor's preferred.
• At least 1 year of purchasing experience.
• 3+ years of staff supervision including hiring, disciplining, and termination.
• Knowledge of materials, products, and the site commodity market.
• Experience in integrated supply.
• Independent thinker and quick learner.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to manage expectations.
• Sourcing experience and organizational flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite staff including recruitment, hiring, supervision, and performance management.
• Oversee procurement activities such as tool crib replenishment and MRO purchasing.
• Drive cost-savings initiatives to meet site targets.
• Serve as primary liaison between customer and vendors.
• Ensure vendor performance meets quality and service expectations.
• Manage site financial activities including AP/AR.
• Create and maintain site documentation, reports, and records.
• Support site growth through strong customer service and partnerships.
