Job summary

Beatrice Sand & Gravel, a NEBCO Company, seeks an Operations Supervisor to direct day-to-day sand and gravel operations near Fairbury, NE. You will plan staffing, supervise personnel, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate resources with senior management.

The role requires interpreting MSHA and regulatory requirements, managing inventory and equipment, and maintaining aggressive production schedules with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from college or technical school.
• One year of management experience or equivalent.
• MSHA Miner certification or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and applies MSHA, Federal, State, and local policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
• Plans project needs, staffing, and equipment requirements across phases.
• Monitors MSHA compliance; works with inspectors; manages safety plans and records.
• Coordinates resources with Sand & Gravel Senior Manager to staff projects.
• Selects and develops personnel; conducts training; enforces performance standards.
• Monitors project cost and schedule, and guides corrective actions.
