Job summary

Lazer Logistics seeks an Assistant Site Manager to join the Field Operations team, supporting safe and efficient yard operations at a customer site. You will collaborate with the Site Manager, assist in inspections and safety, and help develop talent to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, frontline execution, and driving personnel development while ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong customer relationship at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting field operations and driver teams.
• Ability to oversee equipment inspections and safety compliance.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager in monitoring performance metrics and process improvements.
• Assist in equipment inspections and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Drive a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Assist in training, recruiting, and mentoring drivers and site staff.
• Attend customer meetings with the Site Manager to maintain relationships.
• Lead by example and promote a collaborative, compliant team culture.
• Maintain awareness of regulations and market trends.
