Job summary

The Ruhlin Company is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to support our Operations Division in the Columbus region. This role will focus on coordinating field activities and ensuring personnel and equipment are utilized efficiently on our projects.

You will participate in project coordination meetings, manage equipment usage with the Equipment Manager, assist with staffing, safety, and employee development, and maintain a strong field presence by visiting jobsites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/construction field or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS 365, MS Teams, Viewpoint Vista, and HCSS.
• Ability to interpret construction documents.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day field activities to optimize labor and equipment use.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and share best practices.
• Allocate equipment resources with the Equipment Manager.
• Ensure field staff have necessary equipment and materials.
• Maintain field presence by visiting jobsites.
• Support talent acquisition and employee development.
• Promote safety and equal opportunity.
