Job summary

Tommy John in New York, NY is seeking a Site Merchandising Coordinator to implement the merchandising strategy and translate the product assortment online. You will manage product set up, promotional messaging, and visual merchandising across pages while aligning with business goals and consumer trends.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast trends, ensure product readiness, and optimize navigation and category pages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience within digital merchandising required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in product setup and merchandising for online platforms (Shopify a plus).
  • Experience managing virtual packs and bundles a plus.
  • Analytical & data-driven mindset with familiarity in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience in using and managing visual merchandising/internal search tools.
  • Strong project & process management skills with attention to detail.
  • Great organizational and multitask capabilities; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to be on-site in our HQ Office in Lower Manhattan 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of product set up process with precision & attention to each detail (SKU detail, price, images, copy description, size charts, inventory, SEO description, facet values, swatch, etc.)
  • Partner with Site Merchandising for all content updates online across homepage, landing pages, and PLPs for new seasonal assortments and campaign launches
  • Execute Navigation and Category page creations to support newness and consumer shopping trends
  • Ensure product readiness (PDP's, inventory, copy and image, metadata) for product launches
  • Collaborate with Product Buying and Merchandising teams to identify and forecast consumer trends to help support upcoming campaign and product feature strategies
  • Support in managing consistent master feed data and identify any inefficiencies/improvements within online platform for the product catalog, filters, feeds, and navigation
  • Support on PLP sequencing of all trafficked pages on site based on key learnings, merchandising strategies, and personalized browsing experiences
  • Coordinate and execute linking strategy across the site (Navigation, Footer, Filters, etc.)
  • Execute routine site maintenance by inspecting all pages, products, navigation items, and key areas of the site on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and ease of use
  • Analyze site metrics, KPIs and customer feedback to improve product placements and report findings on a weekly basis and as needed
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure tommyjohn.com is staying up to date with industry trends

We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and fun-loving team members, and we are looking for a Site Merchandising Coordinator to join our New York based headquarters.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Site Merchandising Manager, this role is responsible for the implementation of the site merchandising strategy and direction to translate the product assortment online through a unified search and browse experience. The primary focus of this role will be executing all product set up processes, promotional messaging/markdown updates, and visual merchandising across all pages while balancing business objectives and broader consumer trends to increase conversion and sales. This person should be thoughtful and thorough in reviewing merchandising business opportunities and steering cross-functional teams to united objectives and should have a passion for product and best-in-class digital consumer experiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 #LI-DNI
