A growing contemporary luxury lifestyle brand is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Merchandising Manager to elevate the digital commerce experience. This role sits at the intersection of brand and commerce, ensuring that products are presented online in a way that feels inspiring, cohesive, and conversion-driven.

You will collaborate closely with Buying, Marketing, Creative, and E-commerce stakeholders to ensure core styles, key seasonal launches, and special product edits are thoughtfully styled, merchandised, and communicated across the site.

This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is based in Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office). Compensation is dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the visual and narrative presentation of products online, driving upsell and discovery through curated edits, strategic cross-sells, and on-site storytelling.
  • Own the merchandising strategy for carry-over and core products, including how items are presented season-to-season, refreshed styling approaches, and discovery pathways.
  • Partner with Buying to understand the lifecycle of key styles and identify opportunities for re-styling, bundling, and cross-sell strategies to maximize performance.
  • Concept and launch special edits and thematic capsules on the site that reflect the brand’s point of view and drive engagement and conversion.
  • Work with Creative to guide and leverage stylized assets (e.g., still-life, on-model imagery, video snippets) for product detail pages, lookbooks, and campaign content.
  • Integrate influencer and user-generated content into product detail pages to showcase real-world wear, aspirational styling, and brand storytelling at point of purchase.
  • Oversee on-site content placement (banners, landing pages, navigation, cross-sells, upsells) to support key campaigns and inventory priorities.
  • Identify and implement improvements to site search, filtering, and navigation using analytics and customer insights.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing to amplify campaigns and ensure that site visuals, messaging, and promotions align with the brand calendar.
  • Collaborate with E-commerce, UX, and Content teams to ensure the site structure supports new product edits, merchandising flows, and frequent homepage and category refreshes.
  • Work closely with Buying and Planning to optimize inventory presentation, identifying when re-packaging, re-styling, or re-merchandising can drive sell‑through and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain clear communication of site launch dates, key initiatives, and deliverables across stakeholders.
  • Contribute to site presentation strategies across categories, including categorization, sequencing, copy, imagery, and cross‑selling opportunities.
Narrative & Brand Alignment
  • Maintain and enhance the brand story across the site, from micro-copy and product descriptions to the broader visual narrative.
  • Champion a refined, elevated aesthetic and ensure it is consistently reflected in merchandising, styling, and content.
  • Act as a curator of the digital experience, thinking beyond transactions to customer discovery, inspiration, and re-engagement.
  • Drive increased average order value through thoughtful outfit building, product pairings, and lifestyle‑driven merchandising.
Key Attributes & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce or digital merchandising, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or a related consumer category.
  • Proven experience with Shopify Plus, including relevant apps, integrations, and merchandising tools.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, GA4, and related reporting platforms.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, buying, and technical teams.
  • Passion for elevated product, strong aesthetic sensibility, and a customer-centric mindset.
