MISSION:

Ensure customer expectations are met in terms of on-time delivery and product quality.

Develop a team in production that will provide a consistently high-quality product in an efficient manner.

Ensure safety in the assembly line.

Manage assembly scrap.

Implement standardized work.

Perform line balancing.

Respect customer takt-time.

Review assembly assessment results.

ACTIVITIES:

1. Lead the team and promote teamwork to achieve objectives.
2. Closely monitor quality levels and root causes, correcting any non-conformances.
3. Consistently apply policies and procedures.
4. Provide feedback to the Assembly Area Manager about any quality or production concerns.
5. Develop all associates into cross-trained, high-performing team members.

Qualifications:

1. Adequate leadership training or secondary education.
2. Good written and verbal communication skills.
3. Previous management experience (at least 3 years).
4. Previous automotive and assembly experience required.
5. Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate a high level of reactivity in critical situations.
