Blue Falls Car Wash in Amherst, OH seeks a Site Manager- General Applications to lead daily operations, ensure quality service, supervise staff, and maintain facility standards. The role involves customer relations, inventory, scheduling, maintenance coordination, and adherence to safety policies; the ideal candidate has strong communication, reliability, and the ability to manage diverse tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience and/or training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Builds a loyal customer base by establishing a trusting relationship based on integrity and fairness.
• Listens effectively to understand and communicate with customers and employees all pertinent subject matter.
• Presents a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional image to customers.
• In charge of the location’s maintenance (site cleanliness, equipment maintenance/repair, and chemical care).
• Maintains accountability for operations (inventory, machine functionality, and discount codes).
• Invoices customers using proper procedures for charge and credit.
• Handles customer complaints, employee conflicts and daily operational problems.
• Learns and uses performance data to improve daily operations and productivity.
• Follows opening/closing procedures and administrative duties on time.
• Regularly works Mondays–Sundays, evenings and holidays.
• Average of 45 hours per week; occasional travel between locations.

SITE MANAGER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Builds a loyal customer base by establishing a trusting relationship based on integrity and fairness.


• Listens effectively to understand and communicate in a business-like manner to both customers and employees all pertinent subject matter.


• Presents a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional image to customers.


• In charge of the location’s maintenance (maintain cleanliness of sites, equipment maintenance/repair & chemical care and quality of the wash service).


• Maintain accountability for the operations of the car washes (inventory, machine functionality & discount codes).


• Invoices customers using proper procedures for charge & credit.


• Handles customer complaints, employee conflicts and daily operational problems in an even-tempered, fair and consistent manner.


• Learns and understands the performance business data and applies it fairly to daily operations and decisions in effort to increase productivity.


• Follow daily opening and closing procedures accurately.


• Responds accurately and on time to all administrative duties and deadlines, including employee scheduling, evaluations, inventory, etc.


• Regularly work Mondays – Sundays, evenings & Holidays.


• The employee regularly works an average of 45 hours per week.


• Occasional travel between locations.


• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Functions:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.


• Effectively communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information.


• Frequently moves and lifts up to 50 lbs.


• Able to work and commute in all weather conditions.


• Regularly required to use hands/fingers to operate an access machine or telephone


• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers. Regularly bends and crouches to repair car wash equipment.


• Continual standing, moving, and walking for consecutive hours during shift.


• Regularly speaks and listens on the phone and in person, to a customer and fellow employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or 
equivalent combination of education and experience. Repair/Maintenance, Sales, Customer Service and branch management operation knowledge and skills are desired.
