Job summary

Miami Music Project, Inc. is seeking a Site Manager to lead after-school program operations, coordinating Teaching Artists, students, and families at a designated location in Miami. The role emphasizes leadership, effective communication, and program quality aligned with El Sistema philosophy.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of management experience, and strong computer skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to support diverse communities and school partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; administrative or management degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily after-school program operations at the designated location.
  • Maintain clear communication with host school and monitor student progress.
  • Support Directors to manage students, Teaching Artists, staff and volunteers.
  • Coordinate with staff to disseminate information about events, schedules and progress.
  • Engage with parents and families to foster involvement and support.
  • Ensure compliance with discipline and attendance policies and facilitate meetings as needed.
