Job summary

Trellis Mgmt is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee an 89-unit apartment community in Minneapolis. You will ensure residents have a safe, clean, functional place to live and coordinate with service providers to support income-restricted housing programs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in property management, strong customer service, and proven staff supervision. Bilingual English/Somali is a plus to serve our diverse resident population.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience including leasing and staff supervision.
• Experience coordinating with service providers and assisting residents.
• Knowledge of subsidy programs or income-restricted housing a plus.

The Role:

You will be the backbone of an 89-unit apartment community in Minneapolis, ensuring our residents have a safe, clean, and functional place to live. Income Restricted Project Base Section 8/42 and Tax Credit combo. The ideal candidate must be skilled in working with client services and a diverse population to include long-term homeless and disabled clients. We encourage candidates who are bilingual in English and Somali to apply, as this is helpful in serving our resident population. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Rent Collection: Receive and deposit rent payments & initiate late rent notices
• Staff Supervision: Monitor performance & approve timecards
• Leasing: Market property and work with applicants from tours through move-in
• Certifications: Process paperwork in accordance with subsidy programs
• Oversee Property: Ensure a clean, safe environment is provided for residents and staff

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years of property management experience that included leasing, staff supervision, working with service providers, long-term homeless and Coordinated Entry.
• Skills: Excellent customer service, administrative, clerical, verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize as well as multi-task.
• Licensing: Valid Driver's License, insurance and a personal vehicle are a must.
• Software Programs: Yardi & Rent Café experience a plus.
