Job summary

On Our Own Services is seeking a skilled general labor technician for BROOKS COUNTY SRA - Falfurrias, TX. The role covers floor tile replacement, door and hinge repairs, painting, and broad building maintenance tasks across roofs, windows, doors, floors and woodwork.

You will perform groundskeeping, light plumbing, and assist with routine preventive maintenance including gutters, HVAC filters, roof checks, and alarm battery replacement.

Qualifications

• Technical training or certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC are highly beneficial.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Experience in building maintenance or facility repairs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Replace floor tiles.
• Repair restroom stall doors, locks, and hinges.
• Paint inside/outside of buildings.
• Groundskeeping: mowing, edging, planting, mulching, and general maintenance (gutters, filters, roof checks, smoke detectors batteries).
• Light plumbing tasks.
• Open/close work orders via email or phone.
• Communicate supply needs for projects with supervisor.
• Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other building parts.
