Job summary

On Our Own Services is seeking a site maintenance technician to uphold the upkeep and repair of buildings located on the property and the systems within those buildings.

You will address day-to-day issues like plumbing, replacements of light bulbs, painting, and carpentry, and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient building operation.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Valid Driver's License.
• Must own and operate a cellphone.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs inside and outside buildings.
• Replace floor tiles.
• Repair restroom stall doors, locks and hinges.
• Paint inside and outside of buildings.
• Groundskeeping.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Use tools ranging from hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Light plumbing and toilet repair.
• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Communicate supply needs for projects with supervisor.
• Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures.

About Us

Position Summary

The site maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of buildings located on property and systems within those buildings. They will fix day-to-day issues like plumbing issues, and manage regular maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, and carpentry.

Duties:Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform repairs inside/outside buildings.
• Replace floor tiles.
• Repair restroom stall doors, locks and hinges.
• Painting inside/outside of buildings.
• Groundskeeping.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrench.
• Light plumbing and toilet repair.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
