Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Maintenance Technician Supervisor to lead a select maintenance team at a distribution center. The role combines leadership with hands-on troubleshooting during critical events and ensures reliable facility operations.

You will guide staffing, performance management, coaching, and training, apply CMMS for documentation, and align IT and facilities priorities. The position emphasizes safety, cross-functional communication, and continuous improvement to boost equipment

Qualifications

Minimum five years of maintenance experience in facility or distribution/manufacturing environments.
Associate degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology or related field with relevant experience, or completion of a trade program with maintenance experience.
Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities.
Experience with industrial electricity, PLCs, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Leads and manages team members through staffing decisions, performance management, coaching, training and direction.
Oversees daily maintenance and IT-related workflow for timely completion.
Oversees preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on high-tech systems and equipment.
Provides technical leadership as site SME and standards for maintenance practices.
Coordinates CMMS documentation of maintenance activities.
Aligns IT work with operational priorities and schedules installations.
Maintains a safe work environment and communicates safety issues.
Leads cross-functional communication between operations, maintenance and IT.
Drives continuous improvements to increase reliability and service quality.
