Job summary

OnTrac in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior Operations Manager (Site Leader) to direct daily warehouse operations and lead the facility's operations management team. This onsite role reports to the Regional Director and emphasizes safety, service, productivity, and cost improvement.

You will translate business goals into action, manage cross-shift performance, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with vendors and independent contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years management experience, 2 in a similar industry.
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired.
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team.
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations across shifts and operating areas.
• Provide direct leadership to the facility’s operations management team and ensure safety, efficiency, and consistency.

Location: 1470 River Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15212. This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $99,560 - 124,450, with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $124,450 – 149,340. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Shift: To Be Determined (schedule varies based on business needs)

As the Senior Operations Manager at OnTrac, you will report to the Regional Director and lead the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations across assigned shifts and operating areas. You will provide direct leadership to the facility’s operations management team and ensure operating plans are executed safely, efficiently, and consistently.

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for translating facility goals into daily action, coordinating performance across shifts, removing operational barriers, and driving continuous improvement in safety, service, productivity, quality, and cost. This position may act on behalf of the Hub Director when delegated and will support facility-wide initiatives and special projects as needed.

• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly. Systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers
• Responsible for coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
