OnTrac in Hamilton Township, NJ is seeking a Branch Area Manager to oversee packaging operations, staffing, and performance at a busy logistics facility. You will lead a team of handlers, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to optimize process flow.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics with leadership experience, and offers a starting base pay of $73,920–$92,400 with a potential to $110,880, plus comprehensive benefits and a schedule that starts

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; BA/BS college degree in related discipline preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience – (ex. logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to effectively evaluate and summarize data and present answers to questions.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills.
• Effective communication skills including the ability to give honest, constructive feedback.
• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and completing performance evaluations for employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area to ensure quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings, keeping employees informed of daily goals, upcoming events, and safety priorities.
• Record and manage the departures/arrivals of and the flow of volume from designated Linehauls.
• Execute various administrative duties, including safety training, operational audits, and end of shift reporting.

Location:

17 Quakerbridge Plz Dr, Suite A, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619. This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.

Shift(s):

Sunday to Thursday from 5:00am to 1:30pm (Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business)

Compensation:

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $73,920 - $92,400, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $73,920- $110,880. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Employment Logistics:

As an Area Manager for OnTrac, you will report directly to the Operations Manager of the facility and be responsible for managing all the sort activities and volume within an assigned area. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing change to enhance business outcomes within the operation.
