Job summary

Ford Motor Company in the United States seeks a Site Leader to direct safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations of a fast-paced parts distribution center. You will drive lean improvements, manage a diverse workforce, and coordinate with dealers, carriers, and partners to meet performance targets.

The role requires leading a Parts Distribution Center, extensive DPA experience, and strong UAW negotiations background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading a Parts Distribution Center.
• Extensive experience managing and leading facilities with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Extensive Distribution Operations experience in the Daily Parts Advantage (DPA) environment.
• Prior experience in Managing UAW facilities and/or UAW negotiations is required.

Responsibilities

• Creates a culture of proactive safety ensuring team members go home safely every day.
• Leverages data and insights to drive lean improvements delivering quality and cost targets.
• Drive continuous improvement using KPIs and the PDCA model.
• Oversee all daily operations within the High Velocity Center for efficient parts order processing.
• Drive improvements in Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, and Grid Times to meet targets.
• Manage inventory strategies and budget to meet financial targets.
• Lead and develop salaried and hourly teams; foster engagement and high performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with Ford Dealers, Parts Managers, Carriers, and partners.
