Job summary

Goshen Medical Center is seeking an experienced healthcare administration professional to coordinate the center’s daily operations under the CEO. You will manage provider and staff schedules for programs, oversee inventory, and ensure safety compliance and high-quality patient flow.

Responsibilities include staff training, developing development plans, reviewing records for accuracy, and coordinating coverage across departments.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred; two years’ experience in healthcare management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates administrative duties and day-to-day management of the center as delegated by the CEO.
  • Maintain all schedules: providers, clinical, clerical and staff for special programs (such as P.A.P., outreach, etc.).
  • Maintains inventory control and orders supplies as needed.
  • Assist Regional Manager with coordinating and leaving time for all areas and help to arrange for coverage for staff and providers when necessary.
  • Reviews all-time records for accuracy, controls overtime, approves PTO requests, and approves reimbursement for travel.
  • Maintain Safety Compliance (OSHA).
  • OSHA Regulations; Incident or accident reports (Workman’s Comp).
  • Patient complaints resolution and documentation.
  • Patient discharges (handled with assistance/approval of Med. Director).
  • Create and manage Personal Development plans for the staff.
  • Provide ongoing training to maintain quality, prevent errors and develop personal growth.
  • Assist with provider charting updates with Executive staff.
  • Ensures standards are met for order and cleanliness; maintain schedules for repairs, lawn care, building, floor care and office machines.
  • Review all audits and submit follow up action plan within 7 days to Regional Manager and Director of Operations.
  • Monitor performance measures, participate in planning, and lead teams to implement actions for continuous improvement.
  • Assist Regional Manager with conducting monthly staff meetings within 10 days following the site leader meeting.
  • Ensure that One on One, 30-45-90-day evaluations are completed for all new employees.
  • Fill out and meet with staff to discuss bonus rating.
  • All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Job description

I. BACKGROUND:

II. SKILLS:

Requires orientation to computer operations, ability to enter and extract data to utilize for reports. Must be able to interpret and implement policies and procedures. Must be able to plan, coordinate and supervise office functions, train employees for personal development, enhance patient flow, meet OSHA regulations, and develop maintenance and housekeeping regulations.
