Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC is seeking a Laborer to support heavy civil site work across our Virginia operations. The role focuses on cleaning and preparing construction sites, building and taking down scaffolding, loading materials, and following safety procedures on fast-paced job sites. Candidates should have 1–2 years of construction experience, a GED or high school diploma, and be at least 18.

Trade school is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather is required.

Qualifications

GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
1–2 years of construction experience.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment/materials up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt, concrete, and dirt.
Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
Following instructions from supervisors.
Must be able to work individually or within a team.
Ability to work in all weather.
Must be punctual, reliable and be a hard worker.
Count truck loads entails: directing trucks where to dump, sign in tickets, keeping track of time and load count, assuring trucks are lowering their bed before leaving jobsite and making sure drivers are wearing their PPE when they get out of trucks.
