Job summary

Mars, Incorporated in Columbia, SC is seeking a Site Laboratory Coordinator to lead the site's analytical testing program and ensure data integrity across all quality and food safety data.

You will supervise lab technicians, oversee GLP adherence, manage CAPAs, calibration logs, and instrument maintenance while collaborating with regional laboratories and the QFS team to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• GLP knowledge and Quality Management Systems (QMS) experience.
• Hands-on laboratory operations including precise weighing and titration.
• Ability to follow procedures and analytical methods with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the lab team, overseeing daily workflows and testing accuracy.
• Supervise physical and chemical tests using specified equipment.
• Govern raw material sampling including aseptic sampling of bulk trucks, totes and bags.
• Provide troubleshooting and guidance on analytical calculations.
• Maintain documentation, calibration logs, and audit readiness.
