Job summary

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Site Kitchen Operator Brewer Island Elementary School, part-time (4 hours/day, 9:30am–1:30pm, M-F). Under supervision, you will oversee daily kitchen operations for Child Nutrition, assist with food preparation and serving, and ensure safe, clean, and orderly facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site kitchen operations for the Child Nutrition Programs at the elementary school site.
• Prepare, cook/heating and serve hot and cold menu items to students and staff, including summer school and after school programs.
• Maintain the kitchen and serving areas in a safe, clean and orderly condition; requisition, receive and store food and supplies; train staff and students as needed.
