Job summary

RTX is seeking a qualified engineer to join our Marlborough, MA site for an onsite role requiring active DoD Secret clearance. You will coordinate with site teams, analyze SITREPs, and drive fault tree analyses while coordinating run requests for operational and testing needs.

The role emphasizes documenting complex processes and communicating insights to leadership to support continuous improvement in defense programs.

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting deployed systems, field operations, or mission-critical environments.
Experience translating field conditions and customer needs into actionable engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

Conduct tag-ups with site teams to ensure software representation and alignment on operational activities.
Monitor SITREPs provided by sites to identify issues needing elevation or prioritization within the program backlog.
Serve as the primary point of contact for driving fault tree analyses and facilitating technical discussions.
Act as the lead point of contact for managing and coordinating run requests to support operational and testing needs.
