Job summary

Acara Solutions in Cary, NC is seeking a Site Installation Engineer for a 12‑month contract to install, start up, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced diagnostic laboratory equipment at customer sites across the territory. • 2+ years of experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment: Perform installation, start‑up, and calibration of diagnostic instruments and laboratory automation systems, ensuring projects are completed within planned timelines and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues: Diagnose and resolve installation defects, equipment failures and technical challenges, escalating issues as needed to minimize delays and maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate installation activities: Evaluate site readiness and installation quality, work with mechanical installation vendors, and provide feedback to project management, planning, and factory teams.
• Manage parts and documentation: Identify and order missing or damaged components, document installation activities using designated tools, and help ensure compliance with established procedures and specifications.
• Support and mentor field teams: Share technical expertise and provide advanced guidance to field service professionals to support effective troubleshooting and successful equipment installations.
