Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Technician for Starbase Infrastructure to build, maintain, and improve industrial facilities and civil infrastructure. Responsibilities include framing, MEP support, earthwork, and operating heavy equipment while following strict safety guidelines.

Requires a high school diploma and 1+ years in construction. Preferred candidates have broader construction experience, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, concrete, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of commercial, industrial, or civil construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Frame walls, floors, stairs, platforms, concrete forms, and other industrial structures.
• Construct and support various MEP projects.
• Use equipment to perform earthwork, demolition, site clearing, and cleanup.
• Use hand and measurement tools and manual equipment (saws, squares, shovels, etc.).
• Support site civil and outdoor infrastructure projects.
• Layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance of structures, fixtures, and buildings.
• Basic concrete work and repair on slabs, pads, curbs, and site walkways.
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times.
• Keep tools, materials, and equipment in working condition.
• Advise in the selection of building materials; requisition building materials and supplies.
• Transport various heavy materials in vehicles.
